WhatsApp login from a browser (WhatsApp Web)
You can quickly send and receive WhatsApp messages right from your computer and take advantage of its large screen, traditional keyboard and clipboard.
The first time you log into your WhatsApp account, your phone is required. Once you're signed in, you can still receive messages in your browser, even if your phone is turned off.
- Go to www.whatsapp.com
- Click on the „WhatsApp Web” tab
- Open WhatsApp on your mobile
- In the application, choose „Linked Devices” (from the Menu OR Settings)
- Select „WhatsApp Web”
- Select „Link a Device”
- Point your phone at the screen to scan the QR code
- You can now see your WhatsApp conversations in your browser.
You can also link your device with phone number. In this case you need to verify with a 8-character code.
WhatsApp can be used on your desktop without a browser by downloading the „WhatApp Desktop” application on your PC / MAC. You can download these apps from the Microsoft App Store / Apple App Store.
